There is a new phrase, which I plan on only using this one time ( don’t hold it against me k) but here it is…COVID WEDDING…Thanks a lot 2020.
Aubrey & Marina’s wedding celebration was set to take place in May. 2020 had of course altered that and so we found ourselves taking a back seat and well, just doing what we can to sit out the storm.
Love & patience go hand in hand.
We stayed in touch, spoke about the reality of having this celebration later in the year (Hopefully August) or in 2021 (I wonder what that will yield) As we lived through Lockdown: Here is another word we never thought we would use in our daily vocabulary. Restrictions were eased, there was a slight taste of more freedom and at this point, naturally, wedding planning begins to pick up its momentum.
August arrives and we are all set. The excitement levels are high (anxiously awaiting a few last yay’ or nay’s from our President regarding gatherings) but in the end we were all set to go, adhering to a maximum of 50 guests. No problem!
Altydlig, the backdrop for not only the wedding ceremony & reception but would carry a story of family and legacy. A family farm, where Marina grew up. I loved feeling the close-knit warmth walking through the passages, browsing through images on the wall that showcase family history.
Guests & family were treated to an all outdoor experience with weather that we all feel was chosen perfectly by God himself for this day.
A wedding experience that I won’t forget. The importance placed on a couple, honoring their families & God alike as they enter this Covenant together.
As always, a pleasure to work alongside amazing vendors and service providers. Enjoy the story.
